“Five star dining experience with exceptional service and creative menu options. If seafood is your thing this is your place. Cod fish, sushi, halibut, salmon are all excellent choices as they were all fresh and flavorful with an elegant presentation. Wonderful seafood soup and a wide selection of appetizers as well. Give this place a try and will not be disappointed.”

“This was by far the best meal I have ever had. Ever. The plating was beautiful, the atmosphere is gorgeous and unpretentious. It's a busy place but it doesn't feel like it. Our server, Andri, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the food.
10/10.”

“We had a very lovely evening here from the quality of the food, the atmosphere, the drinks, and the service. All of them were worth 5 stars. If you like good sushi this is a must do. Highly recommend the platter with scallops, wagyu beef, and yellowtail- it tastes just as good as it looks!”

“The food was amazing and the staff was super nice! Highly recommend! We ordered the premium tasting menu and they were super accommodating with dietary restrictions. Just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, they brought out an amazing desert tray. Save room for desert!”

“Iceland’s best restaurant by far. Impeccable food and wonderful service, as a local I highly recommend it. Having lived all over the world (incl. NY, London, Frankfurt), I consider Fishmarket my absolute favorite. Everything is good but I highly recommend the sashimi to share, the king crab tempura, the tartare to share, black cod, and dessert to share. Uppi (bar + restaurant upstairs) is also amazing and the private rooms in both restaurants are the best for elevated dining for small groups. A must try when you visit Iceland, loved by locals.”

“Absolutely AMAZING! My husband and I stopped in for a little snack (we were eating our way through town) and ended up eating a full meal it was so amazing!! Walking in we didn’t know if we would be able to get a seat as it was super busy but the host said he didn’t want to turn us away…looked around and offered us the chefs table to sit at (this was IDEAL for us as my husband is also a chef). We had the most amazing time with the best fresh food! Special shout out to Lukas and Audri for making the night PERFECT!”
